Reviews - The Lost Symbol

The Lost Symbol is the sequel to Angels and Demons, and The Da Vinci Code, both I liked. You don't have to read those to understand The Lost Symbol, the only character that stays is the main character Robert Langdon, all the female leads change, haha! This book is a true master piece of a wonderful storytelling.

Well, the story starts with main character, which is Robert Langdon, is invited to give a speech at Washington D.C. and he is "invited" by his mentor and friend, Peter Solomon, well that's what his secretary said. But turns out, his secretary kidnapped him. Robert Langdon finds Peter's right hand on the floor, with messages (symbols). The message is an ancient invitation... Robert realizes that in order to save Peter, he must follow those symbols, and find an ancient portal, and help the bad guy, which means running away from the police, to save Peter. But what Robert doesn't know, is that if he doesn't co-operate with the police, there will be another national security crisis. Should Robert save Peter, or should he stop a national security crisis that will bring chaos to the world? Wow! that summary was all by me!

This book is really good, and it has a message. This book talks about the bible, not sure if it insults it, but it does criticize it. This book's climax also has a huge twist, I hope you read it!
