A cool thing about Amazon and Toblerone.

Hi!I just found out something cool about the Amazon logo, and the Toblerone logo.

Look at this : amazon

The arrow is saying that Amazon has everything from A to Z, and the yellow arrow looks like a smile, which means the customers are always smiling. I learned that from a friend of mine.

toblerone

Toblerone is from Bern, Switzerland, and Bern means "City of Bears", and the mountain - if you look closely, you'll see a bear!

I hope this post wasn't that stupid, bye!

Me and My Sister's "Laws"

Me and my sister have these laws, and it's kinda funny, so I'm gonna share them - some of them are weird. I don't have the book with me right now - because my sister has it :)

(By "hitting" we don't hit each other that hard)

The punishment is always : no computer for 1 valid day. (Tuesday to Friday)

1.) (An eye for an eye) Haha - jk - It's basically if you touch me, I'll hit you. I touch you, you hit me.

2.) Using the wrong spoon, fork, bowl, cup, will have a punishment - which is no computer for 1 valid day. (Tuesday to Friday)

3.) I can;t go to her room, and vice versa unless we say I promise, and they say I promise back.

4.) We alternate for who plays piano first, and who goes to piano lessons first.

5.) If you jump on the chair while someone is touching it, punishment!

6.) Walking in front of a chair while someone is touching it, punishment!

7.) Touching anything public 1-30 minutes after you go to the washroom, you get hit.

8.) My sister always washes the dishes, does the laundry, cook dinner, etc.

9.) After farting, you must touch the doorknob, or you get hit until you touch the doorknob.

10.) NEVER FOUR! Never four meatballs, never four pieces of..., NEVER FOUR!

Haha, well thats about it, cause I can't think of any more.

Bye!

Today: - March 30, 2010

I woke up at 7:30, but I was way to tired, and I fell back asleep - I looked at the clock and it was... 8:04! Uh Oh, but I ate breakfast really fast so yeah. Well, my mom drove me to school, I rushed to my locker , (which is 400) and opened it, grabbed my English binder and headed straight to the library. I went to the library and basically for English all we did was work on our English Public Speech. I tried to open the file (of my speech) that I did at home, because I emailed to my school e-mail, but it wouldn't open. Well, it was a MSG file which is an email Outlook file, but I don't think anyone knew that, so basically all I did for English was...wait, nothing. I just talked to people, and that was about it. After break,  I had break, and I didn't do much, because I wasn't really interested in football. Well, after break, I had Gym (Theory) Nothing to do, I talked to Teagan for the whole period, and she kept saying that her lung has a hole. I believe her, it was just that I was just joking (and teasing) around, cause I was bored. But, from my brain, I never heard of a lung having a hole naturally. Like, I don't think you can be born with one, so something must have happened, I think. Maybe it was an accident. And Teagan also mentioned that her lung was filled with water. Isn't that Congestive Heart Failure or something like that? Anyways, not sure, lol. For gym, we started learning about the Cardiovasucular System, or something like that. It's really confusing, and I think veins bring blood to your heart. I'm pretty sure cause one I was bored and I like squished my vein or something, and my heart hurt like hell. It was as if it stopped pumping. It was pretty scary - Well, anyways, after Gym, I had lunch, and I didn't feel like going to Superstore so... I hanged out with Manraj and Aaron, (they didn't go) oh, and Jeff Rivey. Well, after lunch, I had Mechanics, and I was staring at the ceiling listening to the teacher talk, and then we had to do something with the engine, I don;t know what. I was partnered with Manraj, and I had no idea what to do, so all we did was take it apart, and then put it back together. Haha - but we were the last ones to finish - it was embarrassing! Everyone like finished 20 + minutes before us, and my hands were all black, and oily. Mechanics is my least favorite subject :( ! Last, I had Math and we had a Math test that I finished - The hard questions were:

If a fraction is in lowest terms, the GCF for the numerator and denominator is _______  I think the answer is one.

The product of two numbers is one. What are these two numbers called? I think its reciprocals.

Well, anyways thats about it, BYE!

Today

Well, nothing much happened today. Well, at break, James shot a spitball at me :( . English was boring, because I really didn't talk to anyone. After school, I finally gave Teagan an origami lily, and because Arshdeep was there, I thought I would be mean if I didn't give her one, so I gave her one anyways. But, actually, when I was curling the pedals or whatever, I did it in a huge rush, because I didn't want anyone to see. I thought I was getting 100% in Math, but I never got my homework assignments back from Math, so I have no idea if they count for marks or not. I hope I get 100%! I have piano lessons tonight, and I'm scared, because I'm always afraid that I'll get spazzed!

Bye for now!

My Day, and a solution to rumors

Basically, today, I woke up around 10:30 - without any alarm clocks or anything, just naturally woke up. I exited my room, and went to the bathroom, etc. 10 minutes later, I opened the computer, clicked on Google Chrome and typed www.facebook.com and clicked on a new tab - www.failbooking.com and a new tab - www.blogger.com and another tab - www.youtube.com

I like the open so many tabs - I think I multi task. I just kinda listen to music on my Youtube tab, browse on facebook, and while Facebook is loading, I go on Failbook or check the Dashboard for my Blogger. Basically, on Facebook I talked to Dalan, Dan, and Caleb Poirier. And that's basically what I did for an hour, and then I had breakfast, which was the same as yesterday. (Exactly the same as this) Yes, I had eggs and Brown Sugar oatmeal again, but this time my eggs weren't burnt! Haha! I also had lemonade for breakfast. Then my sister went to work (at my dad's restaurant) so it was just me and my mom in the house. And then my mom left for about 30 minutes to go to the bank, and then my mom came back. And I went on the computer for about 40 more minutes - we had to wait for someone to pick us up and drive us to the Toyota place, because our Sienna had a yearly (?) check. Our Sienna looks like this, same colour, exactly the same, except ours has some Beijing 2008 stickers! Inside, it looks exactly like this, with the leather seats -

It's actually really comfy, but it gets cold in the winter!

We also have a Toyota (again) Camry HYBRID, which is like the newest one, I think it runs on half electricity and half gasoline - so it saves the earth...haha!

Click here to see the inside of the Camry -

Well anyways, I was listening to my 16 gb iPod Touch until the guy came. And then we picked up our car, and went to Superstore first. We spent like so much money on it, like $250! Anyways, after Superstore, I went to Costco (Yum, free samples!)

Anyways, after Costco, we went back home, where I played Wii Play
and Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2. And then, now computer! So that's about it. Oh, I'm watching New Moon tonight with my dad and my sister.

I hope it isn't that boring. I'm so excited to go to Calgary at the Easter break, which is in like 5 days! :) I also redid the lotus flower from my previous post (look down) and I think it looks pretty good, I'll edit this post with a picture of it when my webcam is fixed, cause its broken :( It happened to me before, it takes about a day and it automatically fixes itself :) So I'll post that tomorrow.

I'm going to eat dinner soon! TTYL everyone!

BYE!!!!!

Wait, I forgot to write about a solution to rumors.

As you know, (or may not know) there are a lot of rumors at my school saying that I like Teagan. And I suggested that we should stop talking for a while. But, now I think about it, that is wrong, because it is showing fear. I am not afraid of these rumors. If we stop talking, that means we are afraid of rumors, and that is basically the main thing why a rumor can last. We cannot be scared, so I'm just going to keep talking to her like usual. :) Sooner or later, everybody is going to forget about these stupid rumors. What do you think?

BYE!!!!!

Origami Master - Failure

This time, it is unsuccessful and I messed up, badly. It looks really ugly, and it is ripped.

Here, I'm going to show you a picture, let me get my webcam...

Haha - I'm jk - I got this from the internet- I was trying to make that

Here's my picture -

Well, I messed up! What a waste of my origami paper!

I just want to tell you the difference:

The Magic Star, that I gave to Teagan looks like this - (Picture from Teagans Galaxy - Blogspot)

8 pieces of small square paper. Time : 40 Minutes and it can transform to a frisbee!

An ordinary ninja star is 2 pieces -

Takes about 2 minutes.

Big difference!

How I Blog

Basically I'm doing this post, because I have no more ideas right now, so I'm going to tell you how I blog. I mostly do the typical ,"My Day" posts, and I just tell the whole story of my day as interesting as I can. But sometimes when I finish reading a book, or finish watching a movie, I might review it, without spoiling it. If my post is about something, I just type as much as I can, and when I run out of words to type, I do some research. Usually on Wikipedia, or I just click on random articles that come up on Google. And I just keep on typing. I sometimes get my ideas from http://www.chrisbrogan.com/100-blog-topics-i-hope-you-write/ or http://www.darrenbarefoot.com/archives/2007/09/55-more-blog-posts-i-hope-you-write.html and sometimes, while doing random things, I think of past stories, or I say ,"I should do a post of that" Sometimes Teagan gives me ideas, and I never proofread my posts. It's a bad habit, maybe I'm too lazy too. I know this is a super short post, but oh well.

Sometimes, if I think a post is too short, I save it as a draft and do it later, maybe in a few days.

Well after I'm done, I click the orange "PUBLISH POST" and I smile and relax. And I'm going to do that right now!

Top Ten Weird Foods

This post is going to be about The Top Ten Weird Foods from around the world that I HAVEN'T eaten. And then I'm going to make a list of Weird foods I have eaten,

Now, Top Ten Weird Foods I haven't eaten:

1.) Bird's Nest Soup - China
BirdsNestSoup

I've done some research, and I found this isn't actually a bird's nest, it's actually Bird's saliva. I'm not sure if I want to eat bird spit, but guess what? My mom and my dad ate (drank?) this before. This dish is really good for famous people to make their skin look smoother and stuff. This stuff is really expensive, because it's hard to get bird's spit. Apparently, my mom says it has really good in protein and minerals... (All these pictures in this post AREN'T taken by me, found them in the internet)
My mom said it is sweet. Hmm... My mom said I have to try it when I go to China, or Calgary, or Vancouver, etc.

2.) Fried Spiders - Cambodia
FriedSpiders

Eeeeeeeeewwww, just this picture make me cringe. I have arachnophobia, which is like the fear of spiders, and I'm so grossed out. Apparently they are seasoned with salt and garlic, and they are crispy on the outside, gooey in this inside, and apparently it tastes like Chicken...

3.) Puffer Fish - Japan

(BTW, he is not related to me, I don't know him, I found this on the internet)
Here's how it looks like cooked -

Fugu

That actually looks pretty good, but be careful, go to a super good restaurant. It's illegal to cut this fish unless you have a license, one wrong angle for cutting this WILL kill someone.
Here's what I found in this internet:

You’ve got to be careful with this delicacy or you might end up in the morgue. The deadly Puffer fish, or fugu, however is the ultimate delicacy in Japan even though its skin and insides contain the poisonous toxin todrotoxin, which is 1,250 times stronger than cyanide. That’s why in Japan only expert chefs in licensed restaurants are allowed to prepare it. Otherwise you’re likely to become paralysed whilst still conscious and eventually die from asphyxiation because there is no known antidote.Fifteen people died in Thailand when the fish was made illegal and people started dying it pink and passing it off as salmon. (http://www.bootsnall.com/articles/09-09/10-weird-food-delicacies-from-around-the-world.html)

So I wouldn't want to eat it, I'm afraid to die, even if you know how to cut it, one wrong angle, and I'm dead, everyone makes mistakes, I wouldn't trust anyone.

4.) Balut - from the Phillipines
This is a fertilized Chicken Egg... gross, basically eating baby chickens not even born yet...gross!

This is the chicken with hot sauce...

Apparently you suck on it...gross!

I would never want to eat this!

5.) Cheese with Maggots - Sardinia
CasuMarzu

The official name is Casu Marzu - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casu_marzu

Eeeew, I will never want to eat this!

6.) Stinky Tofu - China
Apparently this is very popular in China, my dad ate it, my mom almost barfed when she ate it, I almost barfed when I smelled it. Stinky Tofu smells like barf, not kidding. stinky tofu, chou tofu in Taiwan

I found this in Wikipeida - From a distance, the odor of stinky tofu is said to resemble that of rotten garbage or manure, even by its enthusiasts. In some instances the taste has even been compared to rotten meat. In spite of stinky tofu's smell, most say the flavor is surprisingly mild. It is said the more it smells, the 'better' its flavor. Some few people have compared it to the taste of blue cheese.

7.) Live Octopus - Korea
Octopus

Apparently, you have to fight to eat it, because the octopus will move and stick to your mouth, and it will bounce in all directions in your mouth. Again, something I do not want to eat.

8.) Poo Coffee - Indonesia

KopiLuwak

Officially called Kopi Luwak, this is the most expensive and rarest coffee in the world. It's made out of animal poo. I dont think I want to drink this. Eeeeww.

9.) Puffin Heart - Iceland
Puffin

Enough said, it's basically puffin heart. I personally wouldn't mind eating this.

10.) Snake Wine - Vietnam
SnakeWine

Yes, people actually drink this! I wouldn't want to drink this! Eeeeww looks gross!

Well, anyways, now I'm going to tell you the Top 10 Weirdest Foods I'VE EATEN:

Most of the foods I'm going to tell you is basically Weird Chinese food, (well, not actually weird, Fun Fact: Outside of North America, Peanut Butter is considered "weird" ) And yes, the stereotype is true, people in China eat dogs, but don't worry I don't. I think it's gross, how can someone eat those cute dogs? Eeeww!

And apparently people get a live monkey, cut the top of the head, just the top, so the monkey is still alive, and get chopsticks and eat the brain, while the monkey is still alive! Cruel!

Anyways, here's my list:

In no particular order, just a random order:

10) Urinating Shrimp
Yes, it's called "Pissing Shrimps"
It actually tastes pretty good, and no, they are dead, just like normal shrimp, it's just a different kind of shrimp, and they don't actually piss when you eat them. Apparently, when the shrimps are alive, they release some kind of liquid (not urine) and back in the old times, people thought it was pee, but it isn't.

9.) Chicken Feet:
You can actually buy this in Save On Foods and Superstore, so it's not unknown. Next time, just look at the meat section!

I really don't know how to eat it, but I ate it.
But usually my mom makes Chicken Feet Soup.

Well, this picture is from the internet, my mom's soup isn't oily at all.

8.) Pig's Blood
It's basically dried pig's blood cooked, and put into machines and stuff to form it into a jelly like Square -

I don't really like it, my dad, my mom, and my sister LOVES it, but I don't. You can eat this in China, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, etc. I ate it in Vancouver and Calgary.

7.) Grass Jelly:

It's tasteless, I barfed. Not lying at all, I really did vomit. It was gross. And my mom got SO MAD! You can buy this at Superstore:
GrassJellyBlocks.jpg

6.) Snake Soup
We went to this restaurant in China called The Snake Restaurant, and the only thing they have is Snakes. You walk in, and you see hundreds of cages and tanks with live snakes. We had deep fried snake, snake soup, fried snake, stir fry, etc.
I hate snake, it is so chewy, I could barely swallow!

5.) Salmon Eyes:

It's gross, don't eat it! It's so jelly, and then in the middle of the eye, there is a tiny white ball that you can't even chew! It's so hard, it's like crumpled piece of paper.

4.) Sugar Cane Juice
It's pretty good to drink, pretty refreshing. It's not weird at all, sugar comes from sugar cane. Sugar Cane is a fruit.

3.) Dragon Fruit

Worst fruit ever! I'm not sure if this is weird, but it sure is unusual, not too many people eat it: You can buy it in every supermarket, Superstore, Costco, Save on Foods:

It's tasteless!

2.) Pig Hands:
My mom made this Sweet Red Rice Vinegar with Eggs and Pig Hands, apparently good for girls for their menstrual cycle, but there's no harm for guys to eat it. My mom makes it like 10 times a year.

Pig's Hand And Ginger Sweet Dark Rice Vinegar

1.) Donkey Dumplings:
I ate this at China, don't blame me, I never knew it was donkey. I ate it, I was like what meat is this? Chicken? My dad's like Donkey... I'm like GROSS!

Basically the meet inside that dough is donkey meat!
It doesn't taste that bad.

That's about it, all pictures found on the internet!

BYE!!!!!!!! This is a long post!

My Life

Basically I was born in Vancouver, in a hospital, and apparently I was suppose to be born at December 25, 1996 (AKA Christmas) but something went wrong, and I was out early. I was born at December 4, 1996. Basically, I don't really remember much of my early life, I remembered my dad going to work, my mom looking after me. And my sister, who is 3 years older than me. And apparently, according to my mom, she pushed me off the stairs when I was like 2. Apparently I cried... Well, I remember when I was two, my mom taught me adding and subtracting - like
53-29= and like addition like 16+18= and when I was 3, she made me recite 1 x 1=1 all the way to 12x12= 144 etc. Basically the only thing I was good at was Math. :( BTW I'm still at Vancouver. Well, I went to preschool, and my mom said that apparently I was crying the whole time saying ,"Mommy!" I think my preschool was in the same building as a library. Well, anyways, we didn't do much in preschool, play with lego's, play with the sandbox, etc. And then I went to Diefenbaker Elementary for Kindergarten...I really don't even remember going there...and then for Grade 1 I went to Thomas Kidd Elementary School. Then when I was 6, I moved to Prince George, and went to Westwood Elementary School at Grade 2-7. I met some friends there, some people I hate, and some fake friends. Pretty much everyone fought for popularity. Yepp, not fun at all. I remembered Devin was in my Grade 2 class -, 3, 4, pretty much every grade. Then at Grade 5, Manraj and Dalan came to Westwood, and I became friends with them. I'm not sure if I was friends with Ashley, Ana, Luisa, Chloe, etc. pretty much only when they sit beside me. lol! I joined Facebook in Grade 5, I think, and I remembered I didn't really liked it. Oh, now, I just turned thirteen, and I am in Grade 8 at John McInnis Secondary School! The school is pretty cool.

That's pretty much my life - Oh, I started piano when I was 5.

Big Two

Big Two is a very unknown card game in North America, but somehow my whole family knows how to play it. Big Two is my favorite card game and it is played with 2-4 players.

Everyone gets 13 cards, and those cards are private. You can look at them, but don't show them to people. You wouldn't show your Poker Cards to other people right?

Basically, take away the jokers, this game does not need jokers.

The cards ranking from highest to lowest are 2-A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3 There is also an ordering of suits. Highest to lowest is Spades - Hearts - Clubs - Diamonds

The object of the game is to get rid of all of your 13 cards. Cards can be placed singly or with combinations.

Learn how to play by visiting this website - http://www.pagat.com/climbing/bigtwo.html

Anyways, this card game is my favorite, I always play it with my sister, dad, and mom (sometimes) . And I'm always second.

You can play it here - http://www.gamefz.com/a.asp?id=2279

Well, anyways,

I know this post was really boring, but... oh well...

What are your favorite card games? Anyways, my sister gets so mad when she loses, which means she has to shuffle! Haha!

My breakfast!

Here, after my sister made breakfast, I made breakfast, I made Eggs, and Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal. The eggs were kinda burnt, but the oatmeal I'm eating now is alright.

This is a really short post. I'm still eating my oatmeal! This is usually the best breakfast I get - LOL, only on weekends. And after I'll eat yogurt. :)

BYE!

My room is so messy!

Yep, my desk is SO messy! I wonder how I do my homework... Well, anyways, I just want to kinda show you how my room looks like, on the left is my messy desk, and this picture is taken by my computer webcam. Behind the desk, as you can see, is my bed, and there are a few stuff, such as my ipod. To the right of my bed is the balcony, where I can step out. Here are some random pics of my computer:

Yep, my computer!
BTW, this is upstairs -

My sister's room

and the living room -

Heres the keyboard -

It's really dirty cause it's not a close up!

Anyways, this is where I'm typing this right now, and where I talk to people (Teagan) on Facebook Chat!

Anyways, I should really clean my room!

Oh, I memorized how to make that flower, and I also memorized the magic star instructions...I think...

I'll take a picture of the purple flower (the same one, just different colour)

Well, here:

and here's both of them together!
