Hi everyone! I haven't posted for such a long time, so I guess in this post I'll talk about my classes I have. The classes I have are Math, Science, Drama, and Gym.
Here is a short explanation of my classes. :)
My Classes:
Math 9 Honors: Math 9 is my first class, it's not that easy, and not that hard so far. We've almost finished two units already. :) Our first unit was about Symmetry, now our Unit is about Rational Numbers. I have a feeling that Math will get REALLY hard as we do more. It's already kind of hard for me already. I am trying to get a good mark for math, like I did last year, I hope I will get a good mark.
Science 9: Science is my second class, and so far, its pretty easy.We do a lot of fun experiments, and most of the stuff we're learning, I know. So far, we've only learned about Safety, Atoms, and Elements.
Drama 10: Drama is the class I have after lunch, and I have to admit, it's pretty fun. We do work on Mime, Voice, a lot more.
Gym 9: Gym is my last class, and we go outside, unless it's raining. We've done rugby and soccer so far, and currently we're doing Track and Field.
Overall I like most of my classes I have this semester, and that is all I have to say about my classes. Time to talk about my day. :)
My Day:
As usual, I woke up, and did my usual stuff, and ate breakfast, which was cereal. :) Cap'n Crunch, actually. They're delicious! haha, well after that, I got ready for school, and I wasn't late! Surprise! I actually haven't been late for the entire school year so far, I'm proud. :) I went upstairs to my locker, got my math binder, and went to the Math Classroom. I sat with Aaron, and Math wasn't very entertaining today. Well, when is Math entertaining? HAHA :) We learned about Rational Numbers, and using Fractions and stuff like that. 70 minutes later, the bell rang, and I went to my locker, and got my Science binder, and went to science. Science was actually not bad today, we marked our homework, and then we did an experiment where we put Hydrochloric Acid in a small test tube, put a strip of magnesium, and then put a big test tube over it. 2 minutes later, you take the big test tube out, and put it near a flame and it makes a "pop" sound. Lighting the piece of wood splints on fire reminded me of Mount Robson. :) We then watched a video of Terry Fox, and then the announcements blared loud, to tell us to go to Masich Place Stadium for the Terry Fox Run.
I now know how 1700 people in Masich Place Stadium looks like.
Well, we walked for about 20 minutes, I walked with Dalan, and then after we came back to PGSS to go for lunch. I went to my locker, grabbed my lunch, and went to meet my friends. Lunch was pretty boring as usual, we walked around the school, etc.
After the bell rang, I went to my locker...wait...actually I didn't, because I don't need a binder for drama. I went straight to my Drama classroom, and we preformed our puppet skit today with my two partners. Our play was about a King and a Horse, that were best friends. The horse was sick one day, and they tried everything they could, but the horse kept coughing and getting sick. The king, who was very selfish, didn't want to be sick, so he decided to give up their mighty friendship. One day, the horse is all alone, in the rain, and still sick and he sees the King walk around the rose garden, they see each other, and the king quickly runs away, saying "I just don't want to get sick" Because of the rain, The King was sick too, all alone, after his servant saying "I don't want to get sick" He finally realizes that it doesn't matter, and friendship is the most important thing in the world. The King and the Horse meet up, and become friends. The End/
I'm the king by the way. :P
The bell rang, I went to my locker, to get my gym strip, and then I went downstairs to the gym, to get changed and then walk to Masich Place to do Track and Field. We warmed up by jogging 3 laps, and then we did Triple Jump, which took up the whole entire gym class. We came back in the gym, and got changed again, and got ready to be dismissed.
The bell rang.
